MY PATH TO TODAY
PROVEN LEADERSHIP EXPERIENCE.
My professional path has prepared me to manage complex budgets, understand risk, lead teams, move projects forward and collaborate across sectors. That matters because better roads, safer neighbourhoods and reliable City services require disciplined budgeting, coordinated execution and public accountability.
01OLG
10 YEARS OF GROWTH AND OPPORTUNITY
I spent a decade in accounting and business-analysis roles at Ontario Lottery and Gaming during a period of province-wide growth and operational complexity.
OLG gave me a strong foundation in financial analysis, accountability and responsible management within a major Ontario organization.
02ALGOMA STEEL
EXPERIENCE AT THE HEART OF THE SAULT'S ECONOMY
Algoma Steel has supported generations of local families and remains one of the most important industrial employers in Sault Ste. Marie.
I worked in senior accounting, finance supervision and internal-audit roles, gaining firsthand experience in risk management, cost control and large-scale operations.
03SOO MILL
FROM CONTROLLER TO PRESIDENT
Soo Mill is a century-old local company built on service, trust and deep roots in the community.
Over nine years, I progressed from Controller to President. I remain grateful for the employees, customers, suppliers and community partners who trusted me to help lead an organization that has served Northern Ontario for generations.
04SALDAN CONSTRUCTION GROUP
HELPING BUILD HOMES AND COMMUNITIES
SalDan has played a major role in residential construction across Northern Ontario, building thousands of homes and creating employment throughout the region.
As COO and CFO, I gained valuable experience in construction, housing, project management and the financial realities involved in turning plans into completed communities.
05MAMAWESWEN NSTC + MAAMWESYING MNSCHS + BENBOWOPKA
CFO ACROSS THREE ESSENTIAL ORGANIZATIONS
I currently serve as Chief Financial Officer of Mamaweswen, The North Shore Tribal Council; Maamwesying North Shore Community Health Services; and Benbowopka Treatment Centre.
Through these roles, I provide financial leadership to organizations supporting Indigenous communities, healthcare delivery, addiction treatment, recovery services and community well-being across the North Shore.
This work has strengthened my understanding of the pressures facing frontline services and the importance of collaboration, accountability and responsible financial planning in organizations that people depend on.
06COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP
GIVING BACK TO THE CITY THAT GAVE ME SO MUCH
My leadership has never been limited to my professional career.
Through YMCA governance, youth hockey coaching, construction-sector service, municipal committee work and local charitable initiatives, I have continued to give my time and experience back to Sault Ste. Marie.
